Bruce has a computer science degree and has spent over 25 years in corporate America before launching his own business in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Bruce's background is both technical and managerial, and he has held positions ranging from application programming to second line management. He has been successful, both as an individual contributor and as a leader of collaborative, cross company teams. His individual contributions have included technical projects, white papers, evaluation of hardware & software products, and solution cost estimates, which usually culminated in presentations to executive management. His leadership in collaborative teams includes hardware/software evaluation, IT infrastructure architecture definition, Year2k compliance of UNIX based hardware/software and mentoring junior staff. His management skills were honed while leading a UNIX systems engineering group in the growth of a large corporation's UNIX system investment from nothing to over 100 systems and over 120 ORACLE databases. He continued his technical and management experience while simultaneously acting as Release Manager and Director of Quality Assurance for a software vendor's hosted messaging business unit.
